I’ve painted on tables, wrapped rocks with papers from Japan (as taught me by my sister Sharon) sewn little purses, covered tiles with photos of paintings and of course made note cards. I almost forgot, I made wood bangles and rings from China and covered them with the same papers as the rocks which were beautiful but too small to fit most Westerners wrists and fingers. Not everything tried has to be successful!
