I’m building a garden right here in the Park

Well, Amos built it for me following an article in a magazine given to me by a neighbor who knew I wanted a garden.

It’s a simple 4×8 garden bed taken from the measurements and instructions found in the Sunset magazine so now I need to get soil to fill it. 16 cubic feet soil and 16 cf compost. We decided not to do it raised as I’ll probably need to sit while gardening. Dirt is not cheap! I’m going to plant seeds soon, some in those cute little cups of stuff until seedlings appear and some in pots. I want flowers too, plenty of flowers. Becky says she’ll water my plants while I’m gone. I’ll share produce. Amos is going to build one for himself too, they plan to stay here for at least a year. Becky should start one too but I don’t think they have space for one. I’m fortunate that my RV is small and my car is small so I have room for both my studio and a garden and am not crowded at all. CJ came over the other day (owner)o see what I was up to over here. I promised it would be neat and not a visual problem for her, it will be beautiful and soon we’d have veggies and flowers. (ojala)

I’m going to Virginia around the end of the month, GG, Charley and me leaving YOUCANDOIT home because I don’t want to deal with towing, that will be much unneeded stress. I look forward to seeing my Gente!

Went to the Grape gallery yesterday with another bunch of paintings but took them back home and hung them in the studio because she doesn’t have enough space to hang them. My other paintings were not hanging either. Tomorrow there is a ART WALK from 6 to 9 and they have a ART HOP the next Saturday. They have them monthly, the first and second Saturdays that galleries are open to the public from 6 tp 9 every month. I think there must be 6 art galleries in town. I wonder how that can survive in this small town but new galleries are opening, two in the past two weeks. I think I’ll go for a couple hours to see what it’s all about but not stay til 9pm as I don’t like driving at night if I can help it.

I’m going to concentrate on my guitar these days and stop painting for a while……..I have too many canvases I don’t know what to do with, my walls are covered in the studio and there’s no wall space in my RV. I’d take them with me to my daughters but she has six I just sent her. Mostly I want to just sell them but it is not a good thing to take your art to several galleries the same town, so I’m at Grapes Gallery for at least 2 months, that’s how long they will keep them if they don’t sell.

OH OH I just opened my photos to add a photo here and it says it can’t be opened and I should try a different photo program, that’s scares me, have lost my photos?

I guess I’ll shut down the computer to see if it will fix it self.

And if I get one person to host a party I get something….I don’t know what it will be but it’s probably something really cool. What have I done to get all these products? Almost nothing! I’ve given my friends and family an opportunity to purchase chemical free, environment friendly, long lasting products and you have purchased almost $800 worth of products! Wouldn’t you like to have your own party for free products? Midnight tonight it’s over for me, but you could just be beginning.
